If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
—2 John 1:5-6
And he said to him “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Our mission is to bring together the women of Southern Oregon through events, conferences, and teachings. We want to create a space that will equip and restore women to their freedom in Christ.
Emily Carter was born in Lima, Peru and raised in West Texas. In 2015, she transplanted to Oregon after meeting her husband in New Mexico. She and her husband have one son whom she homeschools. Emily has taken on an active role in churches since the fourth grade.
Most recently, she has been organizing and leading women’s ministry events and a Mom’s group. She is passionate about helping women see their roles in God’s kingdom, and encouraging them to use their talents for the Glory of God and for the good of others.
Rachel has a passion for worshipping Jesus, studying and discussing Scripture, talking about theology, and discipling. Walking with people as they grow in Jesus brings her joy. She loves learning and teaching and has a Doctorate of ministry and two Master's degrees in ministry and education. She has ministered as a professor, a hospital and VA chaplain, and on a church staff.
Linda grew up in a Christian home in Southern California. Her walk with the Lord began when she accepted Him at age 12, and her goal has been to live for Him. Since getting a Masters degree in Special Education, Linda has worked in a wide range of educational settings with children of all ages. Linda and her family moved to the Rogue Valley in 2008 and her focus changed from children to women. At Rogue Valley Christian Church she worked with Emily Carter and a group of ladies to bring women together and support several organizations helping women. She has been married 55 years to her husband, Larry. Together they have a son, Matthew who is married to Amanda and a daughter Andi who is married to Lucas. They have been blessed with 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.
Amy Stonehill is a woman who has a passion to love and teach women about Jesus and the Word of God. Taught that the Bible was just a bunch of fairytales, Amy had no idea what truth was. Sexually trafficked from age 2.5, she was introduced to witchcraft, drugs and alcohol while her mom died a slow death from breast cancer. After a night of partying, she was introduced to Jesus; she’s never been the same. Amy has been married 37 years to her amazing husband Mike, and together they are raising their 16 year old son. Amy works as the Financial Aid Coordinator at Pacific Bible College, teaches women's Bible studies and serves on the worship team at Journey Church in Medford, Oregon (www.thejourneychurch.tv). She is bold in her faith and freely shares the freedom Christ has given to her. Amy loves Jesus fiercely, and her heart’s desire is to be more like Him.
